Limeuil is a medieval village with character. In 1990, it was voted “one of the most beautiful villages in France”. It’s situated at the confluence of the rivers Dordogne and Vézère and is built against a rock.
It only takes a couple of minutes to walk to the village where you can visit the botanical garden which offers a great view of the confluence. There are restaurants, a bar, handcraft shops, a market on Sunday morning as well as many events all through the summer season: night markets, evening parties, concerts, attic sales, pottery market…
