Le Port de Limeuil, our 4-star campsite, is located in the Dordogne Périgord, between Sarlat, Bergerac, and Périgueux, at the confluence of the Dordogne and Vézère rivers.
Facing the river, the campsite overlooks Limeuil, one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France.
A charming and spacious family campsite.
Beautiful beach on the Dordogne riverbank and heated pools with a waterslide and paddling pool.
Accommodation includes mobile homes, fully equipped tents, and a gîte apartment.

Enjoy the fun of the heated pools: a play pool with jacuzzi and waterslide, a swimming pool, and a paddling pool.
Also enjoy the calm of the river with direct beach access—float downstream on an inner tube, sunbathe, or read in the shade… End the day around a campfire or barbecue.

History

Once the ferryman’s house, a port for flat-bottomed boats and river crossings, the Port de Limeuil is now one of Dordogne’s most beautiful holiday spots, with its superb beach, the Dordogne-Vézère confluence, and stunning views of Limeuil.

Our environmental actions

On our small scale, we strive to protect the planet through various actions.

  • A recycling area for cardboard, glass, and compost.
  • Battery collection at reception.
  • Yellow and green bins for guests to recycle and compost.
  • Organic and local products in the shop: beer and wine from Limeuil, regional wine, solidarity cannery products…
  • No air conditioning in buildings and rentals by choice.
  • Three solar panels heat water for the bar and kitchen
  • Filtered water fountain at the bar to reduce plastic bottles.
  • All kitchen waste is composted or recycled.
  • Take-away boxes if you don’t finish your meal.
  • Mattress and pillow protectors from rentals are collected and recycled.
  • Most cleaning products are eco-labelled; toilet paper and paper towels are recycled.
  • Compostable dog waste bags available at reception.
  • Several EV charging stations available.
